We had the pleasuere of hanging out with Jen and her husband (and little sofia on the way) today! Jen is due later this month and is just beautiful and was willing to do pretty much anything I suggested for our portrait session....love that!!! We had a blast laughing and cracking jokes the whole time! Let me tell you, it sometimes became a challenge to get a "more serious" face out of Jen because we couldnt stop laughing. Here are some of my favorites from the session...
We had to get one last photo of their family of 3 with little Blackie. Soon enough Blackie will have to share the attention of mom and dad with another little one.
Thank you guys for having us capture this special time in your lives! It was so much fun and Jen you look BEAUTIFUL! We can't wait to meet Sofia!

Liam is official one! We did our popular "cake smash" session with him and it was a blast! We could not stop cracking up the whole time! I love the first birthday session because not only is it such a big deal for the family, but it's a huge milestone and we LOVE celebrating it with everyone! This session was extra special because today was his ACTUAL birthday! I just love that I got to be a small part of his special day and I got to experience his very first taste of cake! (Mom made sure to wait till this big day to let him try cake and it was SOOOO worth it!)
These first two images are two of my all time favorite images! Kudos to Dad for bring in the bag prop! I was told "he loves bags" and boy were they right!
He didn't want to get too close to the cake, it was so funny!
After some coaching from us he finally decided to dive in.....
It was such a pleasure to celebrate with the birthday boy and his family!!! I look forward to many more celebrations!!!

Blake dropped by our studio this week for a quick senior portrait before graduation next week. He is such a sweet guy and knew exactly what to do in front of the camera! We enjoyed having him and his mom in the studio! I can tell he has a GREAT future ahead of him!!! Congratulations to Blake and his family on this big acomplishment! A new chapter in your life is about to begin and I'm sure it will be wonderful! Class of 2010 woohoo!!!!!

We had the pleasure of returning to my former highschool to photograph Don Antonio Lugo High School's graduation for the class of 2010!
For me it was so exciting to be surrounded by my school colors again and to see some familiar faces among the teachers and staff. The graduation was held at the beautiful Citizens Bank Arena which was WAY LARGER then the graduation I rememeber oh so many years ago! The ceremony ran smoothly and I couldn't help but feel so much joy and excitemenet as I saw all these young men and women sitting in their caps and gowns waiting to cross that stage as their name is called and returning to their seat as an official graduate of DAL. Needless to say i was flooded with memories of my 4 years there and how much those precious years have helped mold me to who I am today.
To the DAL class of 2010, congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment! We are all destined for greatness in one way or another and it's up to each and every individual to make that greatness happen!
Here are some highlights from the graduation...
This is the famous "Milk Can"...the biggest football game Don Lugo vs. Chino High. The typical "cross town rival", this game every year causes a lot of excitemenet, pressure (for both teams) and always a trick or two played on the opposing school. (Back in my day usually involving toilet paper and early morning hours hehe) The winner of the game gets this milk can to display at their school for the year and the score from the game is engraved on it. I was told at graduation that Don Lugo has not won the milkcan since 1991 (which I also heard happens to be the same year much of this graduating class was born....dang I feel old!) I was shocked when I heard that Lugo won this year! It was a BIG deal and we are so proud of the class of 2010 for bringing the milkcan back to the brown and gold!!! I am really looking forward to this year's milkcan game which will be at Lugo's brand new stadium! This will be a game to remember!
Congratulations to Don Lugo's class of 2010 and best wishes for a bright and succesful future!
